Gorgeous clouds of white.
Baby’s breath is reputed to indicate purity of heart, innocence, and Christian religious ideas, including the breath of the Holy Spirit. Native to central and eastern Europe, it is an herbaceous perennial plant with mounds of branching stems covered in clouds of tiny white flowers in summer.
The genus name is from the Greek gypsos ("gypsum") and philios ("loving"), a reference to the gypsum-rich substrates on which some species grow. Plants of the genus are known commonly as baby's-breath, a name which also refers specifically to the well known ornamental species Gypsophila paniculata.
The babys breath is a long stem: 70-80 cm.
A finecut is made up of: 25 stems.
